This is nominally the 1938 edition, but remained in print through the late 1940s with no changes other than a few brief adenda in the back. This one accompanied a 1948 Model L (serial number 33802) delivered new on August 10, 1948. The print quality of this copy is poor by Gravely's usual standards, and that in combination with small print and the small 5 5/8" by 8 5/8" format makes it difficult to read.
